PHILOSOPHY

Kelly believes that healing happens through safe, authentic, and meaningful relationships. Every individual deserves to feel seen, heard, understood, and accepted without fear of judgment. Kelly views the therapeutic relationship as a foundation for growth, recognizing that trust, empathy, emotional safety, and genuine connection create opportunities for change.

Kelly’s approach is grounded in curiosity rather than judgment, collaboration rather than control, and connection rather than correction. Kelly seeks to understand each individual’s experiences within the context of their relationships, life experiences, strengths, and needs.

PROFESSIONAL

Kelly graduated with a Master in Social Worker from Aurora University in Illinois. After working as a School Social Worker in Illinois for several years, she moved to Utah and started her clinical work, earning her Licensed Clinical Social Work license. Kelly has extensive experience working with children, adolescents & families in day treatment, outpatient and traditional school settings supporting students with diverse emotional, behavioral, and learning needs, advocating for individualized services, and developing positive, trusting relationships that promote growth and well-being.

PERSONAL

Kelly is a mom to a son and daughter who keep her busy with their extracurricular activities, but she would not have it any other way! When she does have down time, she enjoys watching true crime documentaries, listening to audio books and just being outside experiencing all that Utah offers.

CREATING STUDENT SUCCESS

Student success happens through a relationship built on trust, authenticity, and respect. When that happens, therapy becomes a place to explore difficult emotions, develop insight, practice new ways of relating, and building a stronger relationship with oneself and others.
