Certified Forensic Mental Health Examiner.

PHILOSOPHY

Esther believes that effective mental health care considers the whole person. Guided by ethics, levelheadedness, and respect for each client's evolving self-understanding, she integrates mental, physical, and emotional well-being into a holistic approach to care.

PROFESSIONAL
Esther’s path to becoming a mental health provider has been shaped by a passion for learning and diverse clinical experiences. She earned a Master’s degree in Forensic Psychology from John Jay College of Criminal Justice at the City University of New York and continued her training in the Clinical Psychology PhD program at the University of Utah. Her work has included teaching, research, psychological assessment, and psychotherapy with diverse populations.

Over the years, Esther has trained in multiple therapeutic approaches and has found her greatest joy in working with adolescents and their families. She values collaboration and has integrated social cognitive therapy and sensory-based interventions alongside traditional talk therapy to support meaningful growth.

PERSONAL
Esther is passionate about helping students become authors of their own life stories. She enjoys exploring trends in mental health and is especially interested in the connection between mind, body, and spirit, including the role of whole food, plant-based living in overall wellness.
