Dr. Grover, MD is a board certified psychiatrist. Once he completed residency, Doug and his family moved to Utah and began working in an acute psychiatric hospital. He is passionate about medical education, being mentored by well-know leading psychiatrists in the field and loves teaching visiting students. While he continues to enjoy the challenges and satisfaction in this inpatient setting, he also enjoys working with adolescents in his outpatient practice and here in Gateway Academy's residential treatment center. He has particular interests and experience in treating depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, ADHD, developmental and autism spectrum disorders, and psychotic disorders.
PERSONAL
Doug grew up in southern California and spent most of his free time playing sports and outdoor activities. Now that he lives in Utah, he continues to enjoy golf, mountain biking, and snowboarding. His wife is a registered nurse who cares for children in an oncology unit. He and his wife have three sons who also enjoy adventuring in the Wasatch landscape.
