Try, fail, improve. Student success can be difficult to quantify, but it is ultimately the result of being courageous in the classroom and attempting real challenges. Students attempt more of these challenges when they feel safe and supported, in an educational environment that encourages room for mistakes and subsequent growth. It is the job of every teacher to facilitate such an environment.
